Chase Freedom Unlimited®
The Chase Freedom Unlimited® is a personal card that earns a minimum of 1.5% (1.5x) back on all purchases which means a boost of 50% on each dollar of eligible purchase spent when using this card over a standard 1x card. That 50% can make a big difference!
Why do I love this card?
While the Freedom Unlimited is marketed as earning cash back, once combined with a card such as The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card that unlocks the ability to transfer points to hotels and airlines, the rewards can be used for SO much more than cash back. They become part of the powerful currency of Chase Ultimate Rewards points that can be used to book incredible trips.
Enjoy 5% (5x) back on travel purchased through Chase Travel℠
3% (3x) back on drugstore purchases and dining at restaurants (includes takeout and eligible delivery service)
1.5% (1.5x) on all other purchases
$0 annual fee
Remember: while this card is advertised as a cash back card, the rewards are delivered as points which can be transferred to the Sapphire and used to book travel outside of Chase Travel℠.
With the rewards structure that offers a minimum of 1.5x back on all purchases (and higher earnings in certain categories), using this card as an everyday card can help you rack up significant points.
